Brandon Douglas Vancil

Brandon Douglas Vancil passed away at his home in Westminster, Colo., on Feb. 4, 2018.  He was 39.

Brandon will forever be remembered by his familyand friends for his love and amazing musical talent. He enjoyed doing magic tricks for anyone who would watch “Remember magic is really.” Brandon was very passionate about caring for elderly people. He used his gift playing the piano and singing in nursing homes, along with doing in-home care. He worked for himself, installing hardwood and tile flooring. Diving and bull riding were favorite past times. Brandon was always up for an adventure. Most of all he will be remembered for his heart of gold, his genuine kindness, and his willingness to help anyone in need.

Brandon was born Feb. 23, 1978, in Longmont, Colo. He grew up in Berthoud, Colo., and moved to the Denver area as an adult.

Brandon leaves behind his partner Kirsten Brauser; his parents Sam and Linda Vancil, brother Jarrod, sister in-law Amy, and nephew Aidan Vancil, sister Summer, brother-in-law Matt and niece Savannah Jones; grandparents Frank and Lee Esterbrook; great uncle and aunt Doran and Wanda Vancil, and extended family in Dexter Mo., along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by Ada. Brandon’s memorial service is being held Monday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m., Mile Hi Church, Vogt Center Building, 9077 W. Alameda, Lakewood,CO 80226
