Photo courtesy of Thomson School District – On Monday, the Thompson School District allowed middle and high school students to return to full-time, in-person learning across the district. Before Monday, students who opted for in-person education were able to attend in-person on a limited basis. The district announced the decision to return to full-time, in-person school Feb. 25, stating, “Over the past several weeks, significant progress has been made locally in the fight against COVID-19 Now, thanks to several factors that are in place, we are excited to announce that middle school and high school students will return to a full five-day Monday through Friday in-person schedule beginning on Monday, March 22.” Monday marked the beginning of the fourth quarter of the school year calendar and Berthoud High students, pictured above, were excited to be back in the classroom on a regular basis.
