Christopher Frederick Seufer

Chris Seufer, or known to many simply as “The Wild Thang,” passed away peacefully at his home in Berthoud, Colo., on Sept. 10, 2018. Chris was born on July 11, 1952 in Lamar, Colo., to the late Jerry Frederick and Patricia Kathryn (Smith) Seufer. He was raised alongside his brother Lonnie Seufer in Holly, Colo., where he was a farmer, cowboy and musician. Chris is remembered by everyone he came into contact with for, not only his music, but being quick-witted, outgoing, and his fun personality. His love for music was only matched by his love for family. Chris had a unique brand of music. It was a mixture of country and rock that was guaranteed to uplift anyone who listened.

Chris was preceded in death by both of his parents, Jerry and Patricia Seufer, and his first wife Deanna Marie. Chris is survived by his wife Denise Schlager and his brother Lonnie Seufer (Sonia); his children and step-children Nash Seufer, Casey Mullins (Kyle), Tamara Seufer (Massay Cherry), Dylan Seufer (Becca) Darren Crowder (Afton), and Ashlee Schlager. Also his grandchildren; Jackson, Jordynn, Avry, Brooklyn, Ireland, Bailey, Jaymi, Ava, Kade, Noah, Aowyn and Ellyona.

We will be having a celebration of life on Sept. 29 at 12 p.m. at Carroll-Lewellen, 503 Terry St. Longmont, CO 80501.
