Kim grew up in Berthoud in the family home her father and grandfather built. She attended school in Berthoud, graduating in 1991. Kim married the love of her life, Wade Bashor, on March 25, 1995, in Lyons, Colo., and they would have been married for 21 years in March of this year. They lived on the Bashor farm outside of Hygiene, along with her beloved puppies. She loved to travel, especially to Hawaii, where they spent their honeymoon.

Kim was employed with Boulder County Social Services for many years. In August 2015 she earned her master’s degree through the University of Chicago, School of Professional Psychology in Forensic Psychology. She recently began her new career as the Deputy Court Administrator with the City of Boulder.

Kim will carry with her the love of her husband and family. She will be sorely missed at all large family events and gatherings with her friends but will forever be present in spirit.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Bashor of Hygiene; her parents, Scott and Sharon Stevens of Berthoud; her sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Faren Stroh of Loveland; her nieces, Payton Stroh, Rachel Bashor and Samantha Bashor; her nephews, Cale Stroh, Keaton Stroh, Colton Bashor and Wyatt Bashor; her aunts and uncles, Pat and Jim Araya of Manteca, Calif., Rita and Doug Helgoth of Berthoud, Ed and Barb Nelson of Estes Park, Jerry and Ah Mai Nelson of Longmont, Vic and Marylin Shaw of Brighton, Kerrilee Earl of Denver, Paul and Jodi Bashor of Hygiene; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
