Letters to the Editor: The Berthoud Weekly Surveyor welcomes contributions to the editorial page in the form of letters to the editor. Diverse and varied opinions are welcome. Due to space constraints, submissions should be limited to 300 words. Writers are asked not to submit a letter more than once every three weeks.
The Surveyor will print as many letters as possible. However, the editor reserves the right to reject any letter. Reasons a letter might be rejected include: confusing or unclear points, crude language, or inflammatory remarks.

Wedding announcements for couples who live or once lived in Berthoud are published in the community section of the newspaper. Wedding announcements should be limited to 250 words. Photos can be submitted with the information. Submissions will be edited for grammar and Associated Press style.

Engagement announcements will be published for people living, or how have parents living in Berthoud. Submissions should be around 250 words and can include a photo. See below for photo details.

Anniversaries are published for couples living in, or who once lived in, Berthoud. Submissions should be around 250 words. Photo submissions can include one wedding photos and one recent photo of the couple.

Birth announcements are published for infants born to parents or grandparents who live in the Berthoud area. One photo of the child is permitted. Announcements should be around 250 word.

Obituaries are published for free for those with ties to the Berthoud community. Photos submissions of the deceased are welcomed. Please limit obituaries to 500 words. Submissions over the 250 word limit may incur additional charges.
